Before the inception of the internet and on the brink of the desktop publishing revolution, Unsound magazine was published from 1983-1987. Unsound created a forum for musicians and artists to connect and network, linked by common interests and aesthetics. Unsound attempted to create an forum, within the pages bands, artists and writers could post profiles, publish articles, interviews and reviews. Some of the bands featured were: Sonic Youth, Swans, Negativland, Test Department, Hunting Lodge, Chris & Cosey, Borbetomagus, The Haters, Problemist and many more. This site offers each issue of Unsound magazine available for download and a selection of archived audio interviews from the period.

In Vitro rvstd

In Vitro rvstd is a re-enactment of two legendary exhibitions in Club Moral in 1984 and 1986, for the exhibition 'The Eighties – A Decade of Extremes', in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Antwerp.

In Vitro presented products of independent editors, people and groups. These products were mainly magazines, books, cassettes, records, objects, films and videos. Everything was shown in glass cabinets as if it were treasured minerals or butterflies in a natural history museum.
