William Davenport is the founder of Talk Story Films. He is a filmmaker, musician, publisher, writer, teacher and political activist. He is best known for his documentary films about autism, alternative music culture and politics. He is also known for his work as the publisher of Unsound magazine, and as the founding member of the experimental/noise band Problemist. In 2018 William contracted chronic kidney disease. He chronicles his experiences in the documentary "Healthy/Sick", based on the book of the same title. Since being diagnosed in 2018 William has written 16 books, and he is presently working on a new documentary titled, "So Called Freedom".
